September 13, 1958 – March 12, 2026
It is with sadness that the family announces the unexpected passing of “Frank” Frances Andrew Walsh Jr., who passed away at home on March 12, 2026, at the age of 67.
Born on September 13, 1958, in Saint John, New Brunswick, Frank was known for his warm heart, sense of humour, and deep love of music. He was a very talented musician who especially loved playing his guitar and organ, often singing along as he played. Frank had an incredible ear for music and could play just about any song he heard. Some of his favourite moments were spent making music with his cousin, Johnny Perry, as the two enjoyed playing and singing together.
Frank loved the outdoors and found great enjoyment in fishing and going for walks. Known for his quick wit, he loved making people laugh, telling jokes, and sharing stories with family and friends. Frank spent many years working on moving trucks, helping people relocate and always willing to lend a hand where it was needed.
Above all, Frank cherished his family. He was a proud and loving father and grandfather, and his grandchildren brought him immense joy.
Frank will be lovingly remembered by his children, Marie, Selena, and Jonathan, and by his cherished grandchildren, Abigail, Annabelle, Emily, Devon, Damien, and Dominic.
He is also survived by his siblings: Margaret McKinnon (Steve) of Saint John, New Brunswick; Theresa Walsh Keizer (Casey) of Nova Scotia; Anne Marie of Ontario; and Douglas Walsh of Saint John, New Brunswick, as well as many nieces, nephews, extended family members, and friends.
Frank was predeceased by his beloved son Matthew Walsh, his brother Raymond Walsh, his sister Marlene, and his parents Frances Garland and “Frank” Frances Andrew Walsh Sr.
Frank will be remembered for his love of music, his laughter, and the joy he brought to those around him. His memory will live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved him.
Arrangements are under the care and direction of Brenan’s Funeral Home, 111 Paradise Row, Saint John, New Brunswick, (506 634 7424). A Celebration of Life, in memory of Frank, will be held on Wednesday, March 18, 2026, starting at 10:00 AM.
