A 36-year-old man is facing charges in connection with the alleged assault of a minor.
Saint John Police arrested the man on Thursday in the Kingston Peninsula.
Police received a report on January 15 from the hospital and the Family Protection Unit that someone under 16 suffered injuries.
The man is facing charges of aggravated sexual assault, sexual interference, forcible confinement, and assault causing bodily harm.
He is being held in custody and will appear in court today.
