William “Billy” Raymond O’Hearon

January 15, 1965  –  March 20, 2026

With broken hearts, we announce the passing of William “Billy” Raymond O’Hearon on March 20, 2026. Born on January 15, 1965, in Saint John, New Brunswick, he was the beloved son of the late Joseph “Andy” and Alice “Sally” O’Hearon.

Billy dedicated 38 years of his life to Ocean Steel as a proud member of Iron Workers Local 809. Throughout his career, he served as a trustee for the pension fund, a member of the safety committee, and an executive committee member. His strong work ethic and commitment to his union were a source of pride and respect among his coworkers.

Billy had a deep love for Canada and took great joy in spending time at his home on the Kingston Peninsula, as well as traveling across the country with family and friends. He had a passion for cars—whether working on them with Danny and Frank, racing, attending car shows, or watching NASCAR every Sunday, cheering on his favorite driver, #22.

Above all else, Billy’s greatest love was his family. He cherished every moment spent with his O’Hearon and Cameron families.

He is lovingly remembered and survived by his devoted wife, Sandra (Cameron) O’Hearon; his children, Mathew O’Hearon and Allison O’Hearon (Jeremy); his siblings, Cathy Jones (Elmer), Susie Saulnier (Darren), Anne Marie Mueller (Allan), and Tommy O’Brien (Karen); as well as many cherished cousins, nieces, nephews, coworkers, and friends.

In addition to his parents, Billy was predeceased by his father- and mother-in-law, Freeman and Betty Cameron; his brother-in-law, Danny Moore; his sister-in-law, Mary Ann Cameron; and his special aunt and uncle, Sue and Ernie Miller.

Though his passing leaves an immeasurable void, the family finds comfort in knowing he is now reunited with his loved ones who went before him.

Arrangements are under the care and direction of Brenan’s Funeral Home, 111 Paradise Row, Saint John New Brunswick, (506-634-7424). A Visitation in memory of Billy will be held on Thursday, March 26, 2026, starting from 11:00 AM until 1:00 PM, with a service to immediately follow in Brenan’s chapel.
