It seems like “only yesterday”. Do you remember these events?

2018 – Little Big Town take on “Rocket Man” as CBS airs Elton John: I’m Still Standing — A Grammy Salute, with a star‑studded lineup including Miranda Lambert, Maren Morris, Miley Cyrus, Kesha, and Chris Martin.

2012 – It’s a truly special moment in country music—Keith Urban is invited by Vince Gill to join the Grand Ole Opry, during a benefit for the Country Music Hall of Fame at Nashville’s Bridgestone Arena.

2009 – Hannah Montana: The Movie hits theaters, with Miley Cyrus and Billy Ray Cyrus joined on screen by Taylor Swift, Bucky Covington, and Rascal Flatts.

2001 – Lonestar’s heartfelt single “I’m Already There” is released to listeners.

  • Krista has worked for Country 94 since Jan 2015 and is currently your host for the LIVE ON THE DRIVE with Krista, Monday through Friday 3-6 pm. What does Krista love about country music? EVERYTHING! She loves interviewing artists like Dean Brody, Tim Hicks, Lindsay Ell, going to concerts and dancing in the control booth on King St.

If you ask Krista her ABSOLUTE FAVOURITE thing, though, about country radio, the answer is the connection with you, the listener. The friendships made over the years with our listeners is second to none.
