2020 – Lady A’s single “Champagne Night” to radio. It was written by Madeline Merlo who appeared on Songland as a contestant and won!

2019 – Brooks & Dunn are back on top as Reboot debuts number one on the Billboard country albums chart, teaming them up with artists like Brothers Osborne, Thomas Rhett, Kane Brown, Brett Young, Ashley McBryde, Luke Combs, and Kacey Musgraves.

2015 – Leave it to Willie—on 4/20, he officially announces Willie’s Reserve, his new cannabis brand, set to roll out in Colorado and Washington.

2004 – Blender magazine reveals its list of the 50 worst songs ever, ranking “Achy Breaky Heart” by Billy Ray Cyrus at number two, behind “We Built This City” by Starship. Toby Keith’s “Courtesy of the Red, White and Blue” comes in at number twenty‑two.

1993 – A milestone moment! Mercury releases Shania Twain, marking the Canadian superstar’s first album with the label.
