🎨 An evening full of colour awaits at our ArtLove Event!
On April 18th at 6 p.m., join us for a live painting competition featuring talented local artists. In a vibrant and friendly atmosphere, they’ll go head-to-head in three rounds, brushes flying, right before your eyes!
Come see imagination and skill come to life, and find out who will take home the first place!
💲 Admission: $20 + taxes and fees
All proceeds will go towards P.R.O Kids Saint John Charity.

Competition Rules
Duration: Artists have 20 minutes to complete their artwork.
Materials: Only acrylic paint provided by ArtLove is allowed. No other mediums are permitted.
Allowed Personal Materials (not provided by event): Brushes, palette knives, sponges, rollers, and painter’s tape (tape must be removed before the round ends). No mechanical tools allowed.
Provided Materials (1 easel, 1 canvas, Acrylic paint (3 primary colors + black and white), 1 mixing surface, wipes and 2 water jars) No other materials will be permitted.
Round Organization:
Artists will be randomly selected to participate in Round 1 or 2 with the draw taking place 30 minutes before the competition starts.
If an event hosts a minimum of 6 artists :
The artist with the most votes per round will advance to Round 3 (Final Round).
In the Final Round, the winner of the previous rounds will receive a new canvas and palette (same rules apply).​​
If an event hosts more than 6 artists :
The 2 artists with the most votes per round will advance to Round 3 (Final Round).
In the Final Round, the 2 winners from previous rounds will receive a new canvas and palette (same rules apply).
Completed Artwork:
All artworks will be entered into a silent auction.
50% of the proceeds go to the artist, and 50% to the Hom’Art Festival.
The portion awarded to the artist will be issued by check or e-transfer from the Hom’Art Festival within 30 days after the event.
Voting Process:
50% of the score comes from public votes, 50% of the score comes from judges (3 judges).
The public will have 2 minutes to vote between each round.
Voting ballots distributed at the entrance are specific to each round (incorrect ballots will be void).​
