Warren Douglas Flowers

November 17, 1947  –  April 8, 2026

It is with great sadness that the family of Warren Douglas Flowers announce his passing on Wednesday, April 8, 2026 at Shannex Cohen Hall with family by his side. Warren was born on November 17, 1947 in Saint John, NB to the late Cecil and Gladys (Cody) Flowers.

Warren will be sadly missed by his four brothers: Harry (Barb), Roy (Lucy) , Reginald (Janice), Bill (Sharon); four sisters: Mary Lou Splude (late Doug Deuville), Bonnie Marino (late Joe), Nancy Golding (late Tim Aspen), Kimberley Bosfet (Dean), Brother in Law Nicholas Wright, and many nieces, nephews and cousins.

Besides his parents Warren is predeceased by his brother Cecil, sisters: Phyllis Flowers, Betty Ann Addison (late Douglas), and Gladys ‘Marie’ Wright’.

In his younger years Warren worked at the Saint John Winter Port and spent some working in Montreal. Warren found great joy in the outdoors; he enjoyed hunting, fishing and biking. He also liked watching baseball and hockey, particularly the Toronto Blue Jays and the Toronto Maple Leafs.

The family would like to thank Dr. Young, and the Nurses and Staff of Shannex Cohen Hall, especially April, for the wonderful care and compassion given to Warren.

Castle Funeral Home has been entrusted with the arrangements, 309 Lancaster Avenue, Saint John N.B. E2M 2L3 (506)634-1701. A Graveside Service will be held on Monday, April 13th at 11:00 AM in Fernhill Cemetery. A Reception will follow in Castle Fallsview Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers donations in Warren’s memory can be made to a charity of the donor’s choice.
