Storm Over But Roads Are Slippery

Roads are slushy this morning after 12 cm of snow and then several mm of freezing rain and rain fell last night.

Side streets are very slippery as plow crews deal with this latest dump of snow, and freezing rain.

Use due care and caution this morning when driving and make sure you properly clean off your vehicle before hitting the road.

Give yourself lots of room between vehicles to avoid any sudden stops, and watch out for slippery sections at the intersections and possible water on the roads in the usual low lying areas.

Salt and sand crews are out doing the best they can to handle the crusty hard snow and it may take a while to get to your street so have patience.
