Sand, Sea & Summer Fun Return to New River Beach

One of New Brunswick’s most popular summer events is making a return to New River Beach Provincial Park this August. The Bay of Fundy Sand Sculpture Festival takes place August 7th through 9th, bringing together talented artists from across Canada and beyond.

Visitors will get the chance to watch world-class sculptors turn 10 to 15 tons of sand into breathtaking creations, all built by hand over an intense weekend of carving. This year’s theme is Shaped by Sand and Sea, a perfect fit for the stunning Bay of Fundy coastline.

Along with the incredible sculptures, the festival will feature food vendors, live music, family activities, and amateur competitions for those who want to test their own sand-building skills. It’s a fun event for all ages and a great reason to enjoy a summer day by the ocean.

Thousands are expected to attend, so if you’re looking for a unique New Brunswick experience this summer, make plans now to visit New River Beach and see these amazing temporary masterpieces before the tide of time washes them away.
