The IG Wealth Management Walk for Alzheimer’s returns to Saint John on Sunday, May 31, 2026, bringing the community together in support of people living with Alzheimer’s disease and other forms of dementia.
Participants are encouraged to Walk Your Way throughout the month of May, fundraising at their own pace, and then gather for the main Walk event on May 31. Funds raised through the Walk help provide access to essential programs and services such as counselling, respite care, support groups, and community education programs across New Brunswick.
To date, the IG Wealth Management Walk for Alzheimer’s has raised more than $50 million nationwide, supporting individuals living with dementia and those who care for them. With over 750,000 Canadians currently living with dementia—a number expected to reach one million by 2030—community participation remains more important than ever.
The Saint John Walk will feature a welcoming atmosphere with opportunities to connect with others, along with activities, prizes, and special surprises on Walk Day.
