From The Front Lines: A Community Town Hall
May 12th from 6:00 PM – 8:00 PM
Join us for an open and honest community conversation about harm reduction in Saint John.
Voices From the Front Lines brings together a panel of experienced local professionals who work directly with individuals and communities impacted by substance use. This town hall-style event is an opportunity to ask questions, share concerns, and engage in meaningful dialogue about harm reduction; what it is, why it matters, and how it affects our community.
Our panelists include:
● Misty Schofield, Registered Social Worker with Fresh Start Services
● Kathy Boyer, Outreach/Case Manager at Centre for Youth Care
● Alicia Ellis, Education & Training Coordinator at Avenue B Harm Reduction
The event will begin with a moderated discussion featuring prepared questions, followed by a live Q&A where attendees are invited to ask their own questions and engage directly with the panel.
Whether you’re looking to learn more, voice your perspective, or better understand the realities of harm reduction work, this is a space for respectful, informed conversation.
Light refreshments and water will be provided.
Location: Market Square Atrium (Where the fountain is)
This event is made possible because of our generous sponsors Abbvie, Gilead and Horizon Health Network.
