With broken hearts, the family of Paul Francis announce his passing, which occurred on Saturday, May 9, 2026, at the Saint John Regional Hospital. Born April 13, 1967, in Saint John, he was a son of the late Charles and Lucy (Graham) Francis, and beloved husband of Kim (Kincade) Macaulay.
Paul collected model cars and loved music. He was a huge Star Wars fan and loved horror movies and going biking and fishing with Eric. Halloween was his favourite, but he had incredible amounts of decorations for every holiday and always made sure the home was decorated from floor to ceiling.
In addition to his beloved wife of 30 years, Kim, Paul is survived by his children: Eric Savoy, Mark Savoy, Nikki Macaulay (Brandon Richardson), Jesse Macaulay (Katie Rogers), and Wayne Macaulay; grandchildren: Lillian, Mya, Aria, Ben, Finn, Wyatt, Landen, Nathan, Chase, and Elena; brothers, Junior (Betty) and Glen; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins, as well as his fur baby, Fluffy.
Besides his parents, Paul was predeceased by his brother, Carl, and sister, Susan.
Arrangements are under the care and direction of Brenan’s Funeral Home, 111 Paradise Row, Saint John, NB (506-634-7424). A funeral service will be held in Brenan’s Chapel on Friday, May 15, 2026, at 2 pm.
