The Strong Kids campaign is now the Strong Communities campaign to reflect the increasing need and how it impacts more than just children but also their families and where they live.
Last year, the campaign brought in more than $300,000 and helped over 2600 people.
The 2018 goal is $325,000.

Everyone heard a Y story about how a single mother named Bridget needed help paying for her son Carlos to attend Camp Glenburn and the Strong Kids campaign was able to her until she was able to pay for it herself. Her son Carlos is still involved with the camp.
About 35 per cent of the kids who attend Camp Glenburn every summer are subsidized.
