N.B. gas prices see small dips, while diesel rises

You won’t notice much of a difference in fuel prices this week.

The Energy and Utilities Board made its weekly price adjustments early Friday morning.

The maximum for regular self-serve decreased, but only by 0.8 cents a litre. It is now at around $2.01.

There were increases for diesel and furnace oil. They’re both up 2 cents a litre.

Diesel prices are at a maximum of $2.33, while the maximum for furnace oil is $2.26.

The New Brunswick Energy and Utilities Board adjusts prices every Friday at 12:01 a.m.

In Nova Scotia, maximum regular self-serve prices currently range from about $1.92 to $1.97 per litre, while diesel is selling for between $2.18 and $2.22 per litre.

On Prince Edward Island, the maximum prices are currently $2.01 a litre for regular self-serve, more than $2.36 per litre for diesel and nearly $1.76 per litre for home heating oil.
