Upper Kent man killed in motorcycle crash

A New Brunswick man has died in a crash in Upper Kent.

RCMP responded to reports on Thursday morning of a motorcyclist who was overdue getting to his destination.

When police arrived in the area just before 5 am, they found a motorcycle and the driver in the ditch.

The 47-year-old Upper Kent man died at the scene as a result of injuries.

RCMP believe the man, who was travelling on the NB trail parallel to Route 105, lost control and landed in the ditch.

An autopsy will be done to determine the exact cause of death.
