Saint John is your destination for summer fun as the popular Passport to Parks program returns for another season of free, family‑friendly activities in parks across the city.
This year’s Passport to Parks events will take place at four beautiful City‑owned parks:
- Rockwood Park — Sunday, June 7, 1:00–3:30 p.m. (No rain date) Make a day of it at Fisher Lakes in Rockwood Park, with the free annual Fishing Derby from 9:00 a.m.–12:00 p.m. followed by Passport to Parks in the afternoon.
- Dominion Park — Saturday, July 11, 1:00–3:30 p.m. (Rain date: July 12)
- Glenn Carpenter Centre — Saturday, August 8, 1:00–3:30 p.m. (Rain date: August 9)
- Little River Reservoir — Saturday, August 29, 1:00–3:30 p.m. (Rain date: August 30)
The Passport to Parks series brings the community together to celebrate Saint John’s exceptional outdoor spaces. It encourages residents and visitors to explore the city’s parks, beaches, trails, splash pads, and recreation amenities while enjoying inclusive activities for all ages.
Passport to Parks supports Saint John Council’s Belong priority and aligns with the PlaySJ strategic plan, promoting health, well‑being, and quality of life through accessible and engaging recreation opportunities.
