January 13, 1945 ~ May 22, 2026 (age 81)
It is with great sorrow that the family of Edward (Eddy) George Lee announces his passing on Friday, May 22, 2026, at the age of 81. He was the son of the late Andrew Lee and Mary (Brown) Lee. He will be dearly missed by his beloved wife of 63 years, Linda Lee (née Thorne); his children, Eddy Jr. Lee, Janet Ring, and Dwayne Lee; he was predeceased by his beloved daughter, Wendy Spencer. He will also be lovingly remembered by his grandchildren, Robyn, Jason (Melanie), Jenna (Mark), Nick (Ashley), Chris, Brandon (Samantha), Sara, Rebecca, and Megan; as well as 16 great-grandchildren and 2 great-great-grandchildren. He is also survived by his siblings, Robert Lee (Carol) and Nancy Dunlop (Winston). He will also be lovingly remembered by many other family members and friends.
Eddy had a deep love for the outdoors and could often be found hunting, fishing, or spending time in his garage, where he had a remarkable talent for building and fixing just about anything. In his younger years, he enjoyed racing stock cars and driving dune buggies, snowmobiles, and ATVs. A gifted craftsman and hardworking entrepreneur, Eddy owned and operated “The Vinyl Guy” from the late 1990s through the mid-2000s.
Eddy will be remembered for his heartwarming smile that will be missed by all who knew him.
The family would like to extend their heartfelt gratitude to the staff of the Dr. V. A. Snow Centre for the exceptional care, compassion, and kindness shown to Eddy and his family during his time there.
Arrangements have been entrusted to Fundy Funeral Home (506-646-2424). In keeping with Eddy’s wishes, cremation has taken place, and there will be no formal services.
