The family of Colleen Saunders(nee Edison) sadly announces her passing on May 18th, 2026,at SJRH at the age of 76. She was the daughter of the late Charles and Dorothy (nee Shears) Edison.
Colleen was serious, thoughtful, and was always in charge. She would say she had no time for our nonsense, but always joined in. She loved her family and was happiest when she was with them.
Colleen is survived by daughter Tamara, son Stanley, grandson Mekhi, granddaughter Lakeyah, great-grandson Kingsley, and nephew Daniel. Siblings Barbara, Dorothy, Kim, Diane, Johnny, Stephen, and many nieces and nephews who will miss her dearly. Predeceased by her husband Stanley Saunders, brother Ronnie and sister Donna.
Arrangements are under the care and direction of Brenan’s Funeral Home, 111 Paradise Row, Saint John, New Brunswick, (506 – 634 – 7424). In keeping with Colleen’s wishes, there will be no service at this time.
