Teal Day: Standing Together

Today is Teal Day — a day to raise awareness and show support for survivors of sexual violence and abuse.

Across Saint John and around the world, people are encouraged to wear teal as a symbol of strength, healing, and solidarity.

Teal Day also helps spark important conversations about respect, consent, and creating safer communities for everyone.

Listening, learning, and speaking up — can make a big difference.

So today, if you see someone wearing teal, it’s more than just a color — it’s a message of support, hope, and awareness.
