N.B. diesel prices rise, gas prices dip slightly

More ups and downs for fuel prices.

The cost of diesel and furnace oil increased overnight with the weekly price adjustment by the New Brunswick Energy and Utilities Board.

Both are up 3.4 cents a litre, with diesel at a maximum of around $2.21, and furnace oil at a max of around $2.13.

The maximum for regular self-serve, on the other hand, is down by 1.7 cents a litre to around $1.80.

The New Brunswick Energy and Utilities Board makes its regular weekly adjustment to prices every Friday at 12:01 a.m.

In Nova Scotia, regular self-serve ranges from $1.73 to $1.78 per litre, while diesel is selling for between $2.06 and $2.10 per litre.

On Prince Edward Island, the maximum price for regular self-serve is about $1.86 per litre, diesel is at $2.21 per litre, and home heating oil is selling for a maximum of about $1.60 per litre.
