Ability NB: Seeking Peer Mentors

Have you lived with a mobility disability for at least one year?

Ability NB is seeking peer mentors!

Peer mentors are guides in someone’s journey with a mobility disability; it is a great way to share your personal experiences and insights to help someone else.

Peer mentors need to be understanding, empathetic, trustworthy, and willing to share.

If you enjoy helping others and want to give back to your community, this is the volunteer position for you!

  • Ability New Brunswick offers a wide range of programs and services, including Rehabilitation Counselling and Seniors Navigation, Transition NB, Para NB Sport and Recreation, Peer Mentorship, Accessible NB, Public Policy and Community Development, and the New Brunswick Vehicle Retrofit Program. Together, these programs help individuals build independence, connect with their communities, access resources, and achieve their personal goals.
