March break can be a pretty quiet week uptown but that is not the case when it comes to construction activity.
You can see two different dumpsters on the same side of King Street.
One has been set up for a few weeks near 74-76 King Street. One side was home to a convenience store most recently.
One person at the site describes the work as a gut job and tell us the work is also happening on the upstairs apartments.

Down the block, the Tim Horton’s location is also getting an upgrade with a dumpster set up on the sidewalk near the entrance.

A large sign tells customers about changes to store hours while the work is taking place.
The seating area will be closed off while the work is taking place but the restaurant will remain open for takeout orders.
The sign also indicates the work may be completed by March 13th.
