Dennis Oland was back in a Saint John courtroom today for pre-trial hearings.
He’s charged with second-degree murder in the death of his father, Richard Oland, nearly seven years ago.
The prominent Saint John businessman was found dead in his Canterbury Street office in uptown Saint John in July of 2011.
Oland was found guilty in his father’s murder in Dec. 2015, but the New Brunswick Court of Appeal overturned the conviction and ordered a new trial in Oct. 2016
That new trial is slated to begin on Oct. 15 of this year.
