Dennis Oland back in a Saint John courtroom for another pre-trial conference in the Court of Queen’s Bench.
Oland is charged in the death of his father, Saint John businessman Richard Oland, who was found dead in his Canterbury Street office on July 7th 2011.
Dennis Oland was convicted of his father’s murder during a Saint John jury trial in December of 2015, but the New Brunswick Court of Appeal overturned the conviction and ordered a new trial in October of 2016.

The details of the pre-trial hearing are subject to a broadcast ban so the details can’t be revealed.
Oland was also in court for a very brief hearing last Monday.
Dennis Oland’s second murder trial is scheduled to begin on October 15th with Mr. Justice Terrence Morrison presiding.
