Saint John police are looking into an attempted robbery call where a locked door stood in the way of the would-be robber.
Just before 5am on Sunday officers responded to a call of an attempted robbery.
The Esso employee said a man who was wearing dark clothes and had his face covered tried getting into the store, but, because it was so early the door to the store was locked and the employee wouldn’t let the man in.
The man then took off on foot. The investigation continues.
