Making waves for mental health!

When a community comes together for a cause, the impact reaches far beyond the finish line.

This year, Race by-the-Sea Dragon Boat Festival brought together 26 teams and 348 paddlers, who collectively covered an incredible 7,280 km, raising $15,047.63 in support of mental health care in Saint John and Charlotte County!

Through the dedication of the Saint Andrews Paddling Club, volunteers, generous sponsors and hundreds of paddlers, a day on the water has become a meaningful way to strengthen mental health care in our communities.

That generosity is helping support mental health education and training, giving those who care for patients and families more tools and resources to make a difference.

It’s a powerful reminder that community fundraising is about so much more than dollars raised. It’s about people showing up for one another and creating lasting change, right here at home.

To everyone who paddled, donated, volunteered, sponsored or cheered from the shore, thank you for continuing to make waves for mental health! 💙
