A Quispamsis councillor is looking to his council colleagues to see if there’s any appetite to ask the animal committee to possibly make recommendations on whether any changes are required to their animal licensing policy.
In Quispamsis dogs and cats are required through a municipal bylaw to be licensed annually and proof of vaccination is required for dogs.
The cost is $10 for spayed or neutered dogs and cats.
Councillor Kirk Miller calls the current process inefficient and time consuming.
This is coming up at the Tuesday council meeting.
