The Simonds Fire Department battled a barn fire last night that completely destroyed the building.
The blaze was located on Route 820 in Barnesville.
When crews got to the scene they found a large barn next to a home fully involved.
They did get mutual assistance from the Upham Fire Department and crews were on scene for several hours looking for hot spots.
No one was injured and the cause of the fire is not yet known.
