Cooke Aquaculture out of Black’s Harbour is getting a prestigious award in Toronto this week for being named one of Canada’s Best Managed companies for more than seven years.
This will make it a Platinum member of the best-managed companies program.
Joel Richardson, -P of Public Relations tells our newsroom it’s a proud day for their 6,000 employees.
“Judges use criteria like the company mission statement and how it is communicated and managed, the company’s overall capability, focus on the employees and process and of course being financially sound,” says Richardson.
Cooke Aquaculture has sea farming operations in Atlantic Canada, the United States, Chile, Scotland and Spain.
