No injuries after a fire damaged a home on the Kingston Peninsula.
The Peninsula and Long Reach fire departments were called to Perry Point Road around 1:30 p.m. Friday.
Peninsula fire Chief Helen Comeau tells us the residents were away and returned home to find smoke.
Comeau says firefighters were able to knock down the fire and keep the damage to the downstairs.
The cause of the blaze is still under investigation.
