The folks are Market Square are already preparing for Canada’s 151st birthday next month.
The festivities begin on June 21st with an Aboriginal Day celebration called Voices of Tomorrow.
Committee Chair Heather Peterson tells us Canada Day festivities start off early with Art in the Park and the People Parade down King street.
“When that flag goes up, I have goosebumps already. We had over 1500 in the parade last year and we people from all over the world and it’s magnificent” Peterson said.
