Saint John Police Investigating After Man Stabbed In The Buttock

Saint John police continue to investigate after a man was stabbed in the buttock on the east side.

Sergeant Tony Hayes says the victim hasn’t been very forthcoming with information, however, the current version of the story is after a fight in the CIBC parking lot the 31-year-old man ran to the McAllister Place parking lot where he was followed by four people, the fight continued, and that’s when he was stabbed several times in the rear.

He was taken to the Regional with injuries described as non-life threatening.

Four people, two men aged 17 and 19, and two women aged 29 and 18, were all arrested and will be answering to a charge of aggravated assault.

Police were called to McAllister Place at 6 p.m.
