Canadian Tire is voluntarily recalling Master Chef Barbecue lighters due to a safety issue.
Health Canada has determined the lighters do not meet regulations and may pose a fire or burn hazard.
The flames may exceed the allowable flame height and could continue to burn after the trigger mechanism is released.
Over 52,000 of the lighters have been sold in Canada since May of 2016, but there have been no reports of any injuries.
The product should be returned to the store where purchased for a full refund.
