Team Canada skipped by Rachel Homan downed Anna Kubešková of the Czech Republic 8-4. Canada is now 2 and 0 and tied for top spot in the 12 team round robin pool with Margaretha Sigfridsson’s Swedish foursome, which had the bye on Sunday morning.
Canada used last-rock advantage to put deuces on the board in the second, fourth, seventh and ninth ends, the final deuce the result of a draw to the four foot by Homan that clinched the win.
