Break In The Humidity Coming This Week

One more day and we should see a break in the stifling temperatures.

Wednesday will be another hot one with it feeling like the mid-30s again with the humidex.

That has prompted Environment Canada to continue the heat warning for southern New Brunswick.

But meteorologist Linda Libby said we can expect a break on Thursday with a high near 22°C.

“Then we’re looking at more like mid-20s through Friday and Saturday and then a little cooler on Sunday,” Libby said.

But do not get too comfortable, she said, because higher temperatures and humidity will return next week.

Libby also pointed out these recent temperatures in the 30s are way above our seasonal norms.

“The normal at this time of year for Saint John is 23°C,” she said.
