Several different police agencies are working in Fredericton this week providing needed relief for the officers following Friday’s tragedy.
Patrol members from Saint John are there along with Axel from the K-9 unit.
Up to a dozen officers from Saint John are working in the capital on rotating shifts.
Axel and his colleagues were part of a takedown on Sunday night not far from where the shooting occurred last week.
A man was arrested after a robbery with violence on the north side.
