As a winter storm brings rain, snow and high winds to the province, NB Power is reporting that as of around noonhour over 15,000 homes and businesses in New Brunswick are without power.
Over 2700 of those customers are in the Charlotte Southwest region, while over 4600 are in York Sunbury and over 600 are in the Kennebecasis Valley Fundy area. The power company says that it is focusing restoration efforts on larger areas, high priority customers and safety issues.
We are in the middle of #nbstorm & will provide estimated restoration times when crews are able to safely assess outages.
