City Police are investigating a two car collision just beyond the One Mile Interchange that seriously injured a 67 year old woman and 28 year old man.
Their cars collided head on at Seely and Russell Streets with the front ends of both vehicles being heavily damaged.
The fire department had to extricate one of the drivers.
