This west side detour may impact your travels today.
A detour is in place on Highway 1 heading eastbound because of emergency repairs that are needed on a section of the highway. CHSJ News has received multiple reports of a sinkhole.
Traffic heading eastbound into the City on Route 1 will be detoured at Exit 114 onto Manawagonish Road and back onto Route 1 at Exit 119 (Catherwood Street and Bleury Street).
Traffic heading into the city on Highway 7 will be detoured onto Manawagonish Road and then back onto Route 1 at Exit 119 (Catherwood Street and Bleury Street).
