The controversial animal control bylaw comes before the new Quispamsis Council tomorrow night with councillors being told the town’s position and message concerning animal control have been seriously misunderstood.
What’s not being considered, according to town staff, are the positive aspects that have been introduced such as dedicated dog parks, dog friendly beaches, supplied poop and scoop stations and very clear leash rules for public places.
According to town staff, there are significantly more incidents of positive outcomes associated with the bylaw than negative.
