Baltimore blew a 3-0 lead, losing to Texas 4-3…..Clayton Kershaw improved to 11 and 1 as the Los Angeles Dodgers beat Washington 4-1. Kershaw struck out Bryce Harper three times. Stephen Strasburg didn’t pitch for Washington because of an upper back strain. The Saint John Alpines will be honouring the late Vic Fitzgerald before their game Saturday afternoon at 4 against the Chatham Ironmen at Memorial Field. Fitzgerald died back in March at the age of 72.
