More details are expected to be known after an autopsy is performed on a body that was pulled from the Petitcodiac River.
Firefighters from Moncton, Riverview and Dieppe, along with RCMP and paramedics responded to an area behind the Byron Dobson Arena just before 5pm yesterday afternoon.
Several reports had been called in after the body was spotted.
There’s no word on whether it is a male or a female.
