July Is Looking Good Weatherwise

Only days into July and it feels like the dog days of summer.

The Port City is seeing daytime highs in the upper twenties.

Claude Cote of Environment Canada tells CHSJ News its a similar story across the province.

He says a weak trough of low pressure north of the province is creating a west to southwesterly circulation meaning several communities of southwest New Brunswick are experiencing an above normal temperature regime.

Cote says the normal daytime high for this time of year is 22 degrees and around 25 for the rest of the province.
