It be will home to the Human Development Council and the Saint John Community Loan Fund.
The Saint John Learning Exchange will also be in the hub and its Executive Director Christina Fowler says moving into the Waterloo Village is about working with the community towards revitalization.
She says this building is about creating synergies with the neighbourhood associations and with Chown Field which was revitalized last summer.
The first floor of the building will include small businesses, a wellness/yoga studio and the Stone Soup cafe–a business created through the Saint John Learning Exchange.
