Police are looking to find out who is responsible for stealing a church bell in Kirkland which was later found at a scrapyard in Fredericton.
RCMP say sometime between July 16 and July 24 someone took the bell from the top of St. Paul’s Anglican Church on Highway 540 in Kirkland, which is about 30 kilometres southwest of Woodstock. It was found in the scrapyard on July 25 around noon.
RCMP ask anyone with information about this theft to contact the Woodstock detachment at (506) 325-3000 or their local police.
