A report card by the Atlantic Provinces Economic Council shows Atlantic Canadians between the ages of 25 and 29 are increasingly well educated compared to a year ago.
About 72 per cent of them have a post secondary degree, diploma or certificate, and less than 4 per cent don’t have a high school diploma.
76 per cent of the people in this age bracket are employed…which is lower than the national rate of 79 per cent.
The average hourly earnings in the Maritimes are $20.49, that’s lower than the national rate of $23.55.
