An infectious disease called trichomoniasis is affecting birds in Atlantic Canada.
The Canadian Wildlife Health Cooperative is asking people to take down their bird feeders.
Recent reports of sick and dying birds could mean possible outbreaks of the disease.
The disease comes from a parasite that infects the organs of birds but does not pose a risk to other animals or humans.
The first documented case of this disease in Atlantic Canada was in 2007.
During an outbreak, you should remove bird feeders and baths for at least two weeks.
You should also clean your bird feeders on a regular basis to prevent the spread of the disease.
Wildlife experts say during the summer months, there is plenty of natural food and water available for birds.
