What does the future hold at Cherry Brook Zoo after the sudden departure of Lynda and Len Collrin, who had been running the zoo since it opened and lived on site?
There has been no explanation why they were asked to leave. It’s hoped more information will be forthcoming after a meeting of the zoo’s Board of Trustees.
Deputy Mayor Shirley McAlary says the city has skin in the game since it gave the zoo 50 thousand dollars in taxpayer money this year.
The towns of Rothesay, Quispamsis and Hampton have also given the zoo public money this year.
