A City realtor paints a pretty picture of the local housing market.
Dave Cochrane of Remax says for the month of July sales are up 3 per cent and for the year to date sales are up 10 per cent.
40 more houses were sold on the West side compared to July of last year.
He says the average price of a house in Saint John has increased from $178,245 to $190,084.
Cochrane says Charlotte county is down a bit but sales are up in Grand Bay-Westfield.
Sales in Millidgeville and in East Saint John are down some but sales are up in the North end.
