Teenage Girl Killed In Shemogue Crash

Speed may have been a factor in a single vehicle crash near Shemogue which claimed the life of a teenage girl and seriously injured a man.

Around 5 o’clock this morning, RCMP say a vehicle travelling east on Route 15 left the road and rolled several times.

A 16-year-old girl from Petit-Cap and a 21-year-old man from Shemogue were thrown from the vehicle.

Police say the girl died at the scene while the man was taken to hospital with serious injuries.

An RCMP collision reconstructionist is helping to determine the cause of the crash.
